A fun way to 5-a-day

Insight

Whilst some supermarkets are offering pre-prepared and packed fruit targeted at children, research shows they are still not eating their 5-a-day and parents and carers want them to eat more.

Idea

A strategic alliance with Disney enabled us to launch a children's fresh produce brand, using eyecatching design with Disney/Pixar characters, colourful educational logos and photography. This went into the multiples and launched, supported online with a sticker incentive reward scheme to encourage uptake and frequent purchase rates.

Impact

The new brand was welcomed into Waitrose, Sainsburys Ocado and Spar. It succesfully grew category sales without impacting on sales within the same cagtegory.
